Why Join a Church
Baptism and church membership are important steps of obedience and growth for every believer. Jesus commanded, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” (Matthew 28:19). Baptism publicly declares our faith in Christ and identifies us with His death and resurrection (Romans 6:4). Joining a local church allows believers to grow together, serve one another, and live out the call to community: “And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together” (Hebrews 10:24-25). Through baptism and church membership, we follow Christ’s example and embrace the fellowship and mission of His body.
